These tires are not painted in white as others are, but the whitewall construction is built into the tire right from the start. Brief history of Coker

• It all started in 1958 when Harold Coker made a tire and service center
• Later on, his son Corky Coker was named to manage the antique division, and he dedicated the next 40 years to grow this division, until it became the main focus of the company
• In 1994, Coker Tire made the first radial tire with a wide whitewall
• When Corky retired in 2014, the Coker Group had six companies and multiple brands that were given to Wade Kawasaki to manage
• In 2018, the Coker Group was sold to Irving Place Capital, but the management team remained and Kawasaki is still the CEO today.
