Pre-shipment inspection
Every single tire listed on our website is inspected three times. The first inspection is divided into 2 stages: an automatic air pressure test and a visual inspection for holes, bubbles, dry rot, and uneven wear. Damaged or old tires do not pass through. Plus, we perform another thorough visual test before shipment to the customer.
A tire may have been professionally repaired.
Our customers' safety is our top priority, and we take our repairs and conduct quality control checks with the utmost strictness.

What is retreading?
Retreading is a tire repair process that gives new life to a used or worn out tire. In many cases, worn out tires still have a lot of serviceable life left even though there is no useable tread remaining. Only sound, carefully inspected tire casings are used for retreading.
Retread, also known as "recap", or a "remold" is a re-manufacturing process for tires that replace the tread on worn tires. Retreading is applied to casings of spent tires that have been inspected and repaired. The retreading process consists of 6 Steps:
Why use retreads?
Retreads have come a long way since their invention in the early 20th century, and today fleets of all sizes routinely retread the tires on their trucks. Here are a few reasons to consider choosing retreads over brand new tires.
The retreading process consists of 6 Steps:
Step
1
Initial inspection: The tire (or casing) is inspected to ensure it passes industry standards in regards to casing integrity, age, etc. before it begins the retread process.
Step
2
Buffing: The casing is buffed to remove the old tread and prepare the tire for the new tread.
Step
3
Repair/Skiving: The casing is repaired and any debris (stones, etc.) are removed manually.
Step
4
Building: An adhesive agent is applied to the casing then new rubber is applied to the casing.
Step
5
Curing: The casing with new rubber is placed in either a mold or a chamber (depending on the process) 'to cure the rubber to the casing.
Step
6
Final inspection: The tire is thoroughly inspected before it is shipped to the customer.
